Handwara 05 April (KNO) : Asking world community to take notice of unabated killings and deteriorating human rights violations in Kashmir AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has said that verdict by Jodhpur Court over killing two black bucks in 1998 by Salman Khan has exposed the true face of Indian state.

While interacting in Handwara today Er. Rasheed said “Killing two black bucks costs Salman Khan five years imprisonment but murdering five unarmed innocent Kashmiris brings appreciation to major Adatiya by Supreme Court. There can be nothing shameful than that fact that criminal minded officers like Major Gogoi are becoming national Hero’s in India.

It seems that for Indian state worth of Kashmiris is much lesser than animals. Those calling Kashmiris as their own people stand exposed and there should be no doubt that for them Kashmir means only a piece of land and Kashmiri mean nothing”.

Er. Rasheed added that taking care of animals is good but treating Kashmiris worse than animals is shameful and unacceptable. He said “The judgment has came as a shock for Kashmiris as the dirty AFSPA and so called national interest is legalizing and justifying every killing in Kashmir. Indians must introspect that why should they expect Kashmiris on their side after seeing so much of discrimination and getting killed without any of their faults. The verdict over Salman Khan’s killing black bucks has made every Kashmiri to think about the fact that his rights have been thrown to dustbin and institutions of justice are on a long indefinite leave.

There are hundreds of army and other security officers who have committed murders n broad day light but are enjoying impunity from Pathribal to Machil and New Delhi should not forget that it is digging grave of its interests by denying Kashmiris justice”.(KNO)
